NCSA collaborator Ryan Foley awarded Sloan Research Fellowship

Foley, a U of I professor of astronomy and science of nature, studies exploding stars and other of transient objects. He discovered and characterized Type Iax supernovae and uses Type Ia supernovae to due proportion the expansion and investigate the satisfied of the universe.
